Editorial Policy
TechRoke publishes technology help content for readers who need practical answers quickly. This Editorial Policy explains how we approach article planning, writing, reviewing, and updates.
Content Purpose
Every TechRoke article should solve a clear reader problem or explain a specific technology question. We avoid broad, vague topics when a more specific article would help the reader more. Our preferred topics are focused, problem-based, and written around real search intent.
Article Structure
Our troubleshooting articles follow a consistent structure: issue type, short answer, quick diagnosis, steps to try first, warning where needed, common mistake, best next step, and quick Q&A. This structure helps readers understand the problem quickly and move through fixes in a safe order.
Accuracy Standards
We aim to include accurate paths, settings names, commands, and tool names. When software interfaces change, older instructions may become outdated. We review important content and update pages when we identify better information, changed product behavior, or reader confusion.
Safety and Warnings
We add warnings when an article includes steps that may affect data, drives, firmware, partitions, boot files, registry entries, account access, reset actions, or reinstall processes. Readers should back up important files before following higher-risk steps.
Independence
TechRoke content should be written for reader usefulness first. If we mention a tool, app, or service, the recommendation should fit the problem being solved. Sponsored or affiliate relationships, if present, should not override practical accuracy or reader safety.
Corrections
If we find an error, outdated step, broken link, or unclear explanation, we may correct the article. Readers can report issues through the Contact page. Clear corrections help improve the site for everyone.
AI-Assisted Workflows
TechRoke may use AI-assisted tools for planning, drafting, editing, formatting, or research support. Human review remains important for structure, clarity, accuracy, safety, and usefulness. We do not aim to publish generic AI filler; every article should be practical and specific.
Reader Feedback
Reader feedback is valuable. If a guide worked, failed, or missed an important scenario, feedback may help us improve the article and cover additional cases in future updates.
